The chocolate cake is a delicious sweet, easy to prepare, among all classical desserts. Soft and tasty, the chocolate cake like everyone and it is ideal for an afternoon snack or a sweet awakening in the morning.
- 200 grams of butter at room temperature
- 50 grams of cocoa powder
- 100 grams of dark chocolate
- 200 grams of flour
- 50 ml of fresh milk
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- 5 eggs
- 200 grams of sugar
To prepare the chocolate cake first melt in the microwave or waterbath the chopped chocolate and let cool, stirring occasionally. In a large bowl put the butter cubes and let soften at room temperature. Beat the butter with a whisk, until it reduces to a cream, then add sugar and continue beating.
Add one egg at a time and by the others, put attention to fully absorb the egg before adding another one: this way you will have a soft and smooth creamy. Incorporate the melted chocolate. In a bowl combine the sifted flour, baking powder and cocoa.
Add to butter, eggs and chocolate mixture sifted ingredients with some tablespoons of warm milk. Finally butter and flour a cake pan of 22 to 24 cm and pour inside mixture, leveling the surface. Bake in oven at 180 ° C for 60 minutes, then prick with a knife to see if it is cooked. Let it cool slightly and take out the cake. Garnish the cake with chocolate.
