Blueberry muffins: what’s more delicate and delicious?

 

Any excuse to get some grub! We prepare the simple muffins, great for breakfast as a snack for young and old, enriched by the valuable vitamins of berries. Let’s have fun!

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of flour sifted
  • 12 grams of baking powder
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • one whole egg and a yolk
  • 60 grams of melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 200 grams of blueberries
  • some cookies as decorations

Directions

Place in a bowl the flour sifted with the salt, baking powder and sugar. Lightly beat the eggs, pour them in the center of the flour, turning carefully, so that no lumps are formed. Add milk to soften the dough. At the end add the melted butter and mix.

 

At last add the berries, washed thoroughly dried, stir gently with a wooden spoon. Spread the mixture into 12 to 15 molds muffins lightly buttered and floured. Reduce cookies into pieces and distribute them on each muffin. Put in hot oven (200 ° C) until the muffins are well puffed and lightly colored on the surface. The muffins are very good also prepared with 20 grams of yeast, dissolved in a little warm milk, instead of baking powder. In this case, after giving the dough in the molds, let it rise for 10 minutes in a warm place before baking.
